PS: Those are trees that never made it to market. The field must be cleared for a new planting. So there’s a crew out there right now, torching piles of cut Christmas trees. Maybe I should start an Adopt-a-Christmas-Tree-in-the-Ground program. For $5 a month per tree, I’ll maintain a transplanted one here on our property somewhere. Hmmm.
