I wonder how many church services yesterday provided learning and comfort for everyone present.

“For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted” (1 Corinthians 14:31).

I’m sure this doesn’t mean that everyone present must speak.

It does seem to mean that when enough participate in this way, everyone will experience learning and encouragement.

Perhaps our services would become more helpful if we did things this way.

Pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course (2 Thessalonians 3:1)

Pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course (2 Thessalonians 3:1)

In the meantime, what’s to keep me from “prophesying” to one person or a small group after the service?

Just because I didn’t get up front to speak doesn’t mean I can’t offer some truth or blessing afterward.

Surely you could add something...
