Reading:
Psalm 130

“Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD” (1).

That’s what Jonah did, when he found himself in the fish’s belly.

Peter the disciple was headed for the depths when he cried out to Jesus. (Peter was walking on the water but started sinking, you might recall.)

Did crying out to God do any good for them?

Yes, of course!

Well, then . . . .

In my distress, let me also cry out to God!

“Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication” (2).

[But there is forgiveness with thee (Psalm 130:4)]

from Psalm 130:4

A little bit more from Psalm 130: I Wait. I Hope.

Surely you could add something...
