Spiritual needs, emotional needs, economic needs, social needs — lots and lots of needs.

And we all have them.

But I must be careful not to become to focused on and absorbed by my own needs.

“Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard” (13).

Those with a heart open to the needs of others eventually discover that others have opened their hearts to them.

Even God promises mercy to those who have shown it.
