When routine and relationship do not seek God
Reading:

Psalm 53

I purpose to have and retain a heart that’s inclined after God.

That continues to be my ongoing aspiration and commitment. But if I do not cultivate the practice of purposefully seeking God — as both a matter of routine and a matter of relationship — I will certainly turn from Him.

“There is no God” (Psalm 53:1).

“To see if there any…that did seek God” (Psalm 53:2).

“They have not called upon God” (Psalm 53:4).

If I do not seek Him and if I do not call on Him, I will slide into denying His very existence.

I will seek Him. I will call upon Him. Consciously. Deliberately. Purposefully. Actively. Daily.

As a matter of routine.

As a matter of relationship.

Surely you could add something...
