Do not rely your own moral strength.
Do not underestimate the seductive power of the “strange woman.”
“Many strong men have been slain by her” (Proverbs 7:26).
That’s right, brother, I’m talking to me.
And to you as well.
So is God!
Stay away from her. Flee temptation. Your own strength will surely let you down sometime.
How weakly we grasp the fervor of God’s hatred for certain things!
How weakly we resist some of those very things which the Holy Only rejects so passionately and so uncompromisingly!
He identifies seven of those abominable things in Proverbs 6:16-19.
Shall we listen again and be moved by His fury for such attitudes and actions?
