No doubt Psalm 50 has more than three. But here are the ones that snagged my attention this time:

“And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself” (6).

It isn’t my righteousness that’s to be declared, but His.

And I am not the judge of anyone, not even of myself. God is.

“Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High” (14).

What have I promised to God that I have failed to deliver on?

“Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver” (22).

Wow! That ought to sober me up and cause me to try harder to remember God!

Knowing me, I fear I shall forget by tomorrow. 🙁
