Recently I read a news story about the new national leader of some major denomination declaring that there’s nothing wrong with homosexuality.

There are plenty who have (and many more who will yet) praise her for her stance. But who will challenge her?

“They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them” (Proverbs 28:4).

I am glad I am not among those praising the wicked.

But as one who keeps the law, am I doing enough to “contend” with them?

Probably not.

So now what?

Well, I can start right here by stating two things clearly.

First, I believe female leadership in the church is wrong.

Second, I believe homosexual behavior is wrong.

I derive those beliefs from God’s Word, the Bible.
