Ken Miller Moved to Different Jail

Moving Ken to another jail, while troubling at certain levels, will open up a new sphere of witness and influence for him.

So he was moved from “his” Vermont jail to one in New York.

Is the judge trying to break his resolve by moving him further away from family and friends? Perhaps.

Maybe the judge is hoping that Ken will end up with cellmates who are less supportive.

Who knows.

But I know this: God’s hand is in it. And moving Ken to another jail, while troubling at certain levels, will open up a new sphere of witness and influence for him.

May God continue to sustain Ken and his family.

And may God bless Judge Sessions, the US Attorneys, the US Marshals, the jailers, and any other individuals on the “opposite” side from Ken.

ThinkVantage Configuration Update Stalls

God (I am persuaded) brought a thought to my mind: Maybe your anti-virus, anti-spam, firewall Zone Alarm is blocking ThinkVantage in that final stage.

I had set out to do an overdue update to the ThinkVantage software on my IBM ThinkPad R51e.

All went well until I tried to install the ThinkPad Configuration Update. Overall progress went to 99%, then backtracked to 98%, then eased back up to 99% again. Back and forth, back and forth.

I tried this installation repeatedly in the course of several days. I tried it as a directly downloaded-and-installed process. I tried it as a deferred update installation. Always the same results.

I searched Google. I searched Lenovo’s forums. I found no help. Read it all

Polymorphous Promiscuity Will Prevail

Why should paedophilia be wrong or illegal any more than are promiscuity, divorce, shacking up, and homosexuality?

For quite a while, I’ve had in mind to pose such a question to make this point: I expect paedophilia will be the new gay, though paedophiles will hijack their own mainstream term.

Give it a few years. Not that many. It won’t take that much longer.

Then Andrée and I (and you?) will have another scarlet letter pinned to us: P.
